INJA LABRADOODLES
FAQs
Once your waiting list application is approved, we will contact you to collect a deposit. The deposit is a non-refundable amount of $500 per puppy.
Updates on the litter will be available on Facebook a few days after the litter is born when the puppies are all settled in.
During their first 6 weeks we spend a lot of time observing the puppies, keeping in mind the families lifestyles and puppy preferences. Whilst we always take your colour and sex preferences into consideration, the matching of personalities/ temperament and your lifestyle is our priority. We want to ensure that the right puppy goes to the right family.
At 6 weeks of age, after their first vet health check, we will invite you to come and visit the puppies and introduce you to those we think will be your perfect match. After this visit you will be invoiced the balance of the puppy price, which will need to be paid immediately.
Collection of your puppy will occur as soon as possible after their 8 week birthday. We will send you home with a gorgeous bundle of fluff, for you to shower with love!
Our puppies are usually sent home already spayed/neutered. However, if you would prefer to wait until they are older, we use a company called Spay Secure to provide binding contracts. Please note, Spay Secure contracts come at an extra cost to the owner.
When making this decision it is important to consider the individual puppy and your circumstances at home. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. You can also learn more about Spay Secure contracts here via their website.

At inja we use Guardian Families to care for our breeding mums and dads. We do this so that our they have an amazing life with their forever family from 8 weeks of age. We prefer not to house breeding dogs here at inja and then re-home them when they retire, as this is a big adjustment for them and us.
At 8+ weeks the potential breeding puppy will go to their forever family, like any other puppy would, and they grow up as per normal – in a loving family home. Between 4-12 months we collect them twice to complete their testing. It is at 12 months that we will make a final call as to whether we will breed with that dog.
If we decide not to use them for breeding, then we will pay to have them desexed and they will continue to live with their forever families.
If we decide to use for breeding, then we periodically collect them to complete matings as required. All vet costs associated with breeding are covered by inja Labradoodles.
Breeding mums come and stay with us in our home a week before they are due to have their babies, and for the first 5 weeks after the litter is born. They have no more than 3 litters, then we pay for them to be desexed and they continue to live with their forever families.
All breeding mums and dads are able to board with us at Kurrajong Oodles free of charge, during the years that they are used for breeding.
The puppy price for a potential breeding pup is $2,500, which is less than our pet puppy price. A bonus of $500 is paid to the Guardian Family each time the dog has a litter consisting of more than 2 puppies. The bonus is paid once their puppies have all gone home.
A Labradoodle is created through the union of a Labrador retriever and a Poodle. These standard Labradoodles are known by many different names such as American Labradoodle, British Labradoodle, Early generations Labradoodle, and Labradoodle origin.
Standard Labradoodle can be bred to create a second generation of Labradoodle. Similarly, second-generation is used to create the third generation and so on. It is worth noticing that all Labradoodles come from a single lineage that is solely made up of poodles and Labradors.
In contrast to this, Australian Labradoodles have a more complex lineage. They are a cross between six different parent breeds:
- Labrador
- Poodle
- English Cocker Spaniel
- American Cocker Spaniel
- Curly Coat Retriever
- Irish Water Spaniel
