Why people the Australian Labradoodle
In the mid 1970’s The Australian Guide Dog Association received an inquiry from a blind lady in Hawaii, requesting a guide dog that would not cause her allergies to flare.
Litters of Poodles x Labradors were bred in an attempt to achieve this and we finally succeeded.
The main attraction of the Labradoodle was the low and non-shedding coats, their wonderful disposition and kindness, their versatility, their intelligence and tenacity.
Today we find the Australian Labradoodle loved around the world as an allergy friendly soul mate.
DNA Tested
All our mums and dad are DNA tested for a wide range of diseases and they all have have hip score tests based on the PennHip as well as 1 other test.
Guardian Homes
Just as your pup will be special to you, our mums and dads – whilst being an important part of the inja family – each live with their own carer family. This ensures they get all the love, care & attention they deserve when they are not breeding.
Selection
We select our breeding mums and dad for their compliance with our breeds standards and of course for the temperament traits we strive to replicate.
